Santa’s little helpers

At the end of last year we were busy behind the scenes playing Santa’s little helpers, as every person we support has received a gift. Our incredible Events & Communications Coordinator, Tiegan, lead the mission. Fuelled by coffee, determination, and pure festive chaos, she and the rest of the team gave out close to 500 presents across the peninsula.

Tiegan recruited family, friends, and unsuspecting weekend visitors to help wrap, tag, and organise gifts… to the point where her house looked less like a home and more like Santa’s workshop. Weekends? Gone. Evenings? Gift-shaped. Spare room? Presents. Kitchen table? Presents. Sofa? Probably more presents. It’s was hilarious, heart-warming, and 100% rewarding - she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

This project truly was a whirlwind of tinsel-covered sweat, tears, and Sellotape, but my goodness, it’s was fun. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, wrapped, carried, delivered, and cheered us on — you made this happen.
