Bridge the Gap
For 10 years, wHoo Cares has been a lifeline on the Hoo Peninsula. What started as a simple idea now supports over 500 people, powered by nearly 100 volunteers and a dedicated staff.
We help people by taking them to medical appointments, assisting with housing and benefits, visiting loved ones, and participating in weekly community activities. For many, we are more than a service — we are friendship, connection, and support when it’s needed most.
Why We Need Your Help
This year, our core funding from Medway Council was withdrawn due to wider financial pressures. At the same time, demand for our support continues to grow, and costs are rising.
From our side, we are actively exploring every possible option to secure the future of our services. We are cutting costs, developing new funding streams, and working hard behind the scenes to ensure that support remains available to those who need it most.
But without urgent support, wHoo Cares could be forced to close.
What Your Support Will Do
Your donation will help us keep going during this crucial period, covering essential running and transport costs so we can continue supporting those who rely on us every day.
